St. Pat has long provided transportation services – both to and from the center, and to medical appointments. Over the last two years, this program has become more important than ever. Six days a week, our team of seven drivers pick up dozens of clients – taking them to checkups, specialty appointments, and dialysis. Many of the people we drive have no other means of transportation, so St Pat is their only option.
One of our clients from Detroit’s west side, who was provided rides to weekly treatments, tells us: “The guys were so nice. We had nice conversations. And every day they were here to pick me up before they were supposed to be. When they dropped me off, they saw me safely inside, too!”
