The Festival has been a tradition in the Detroit Irish Community and Midtown Detroit since 1978. Proceeds benefit St. Patrick Senior Center, Detroit’s largest hub for older adults, offering meals, wellness programs, caregiving, and more.
Since 1978, St. Pat has partnered with the Fraternal Order of United Irishmen (FOUIs) and Detroit’s Irish community to host a one-day Midtown tradition. The FOUIs were founded to support the center after Sr. Mary Watson and Fr. Tom Duffey sought help during its early days.
The 2026 festival, set for Sunday, May 3, will bring music, dance, food, raffles, and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with friends. This event is expected to draw more than 750 guests.
