Volunteer Role: Food Delivery Unpacking and Sorting
St. Patrick Senior Center is looking for caring, reliable volunteers who can give 2–4 hours a month to help bring food directly to older adults who rely on us.
This is a perfect opportunity for individuals, families, church groups, students, or anyone who wants to make a real, immediate difference.
When We Need Help
We’re looking for volunteers who can assist on:
- Monday’s between 10 am and 2 pm
- Friday’s between 10 am and 2 pm
- Sunday’s between 10 am and 2 pm
Even picking one of these days each month makes a tremendous impact.
What You’ll Do
Volunteers help with:
- Unpacking and sorting food deliveries from partner agencies
- Preparing produce, staples, and grocery items for delivery to seniors who are homebound or have limited transportation
- Helping staff unload and organize food items as needed
- Sharing kindness, consistency, and respect with the people we serve
No heavy lifting required.
