Thankful Thursdays: Detroit Parks & Recreation! All year long, this great organization supports people across the city – including people 55 and older. In addition to operating amazing rec centers providing many activities and services, they also run the annual Senior Olympics in Hart Plaza, and join St. Pat and Detroit Area Agency on Aging on the annual September “Strides for Seniors” campaign.
