Detroit Mass Mob to Come to St. Pat

Many Irish community events begin with the celebration of Mass – thus the 55th Detroit Mass Mob will gather in our historic auditorium at 11:30 AM the day of our Irish Festival on Sunday, April 21.  Seating is limited to around 300, and attendees can proceed immediately to the festival – which will have no entry fee this year.  The Mass Mob is a fitting way to remember St. Patrick Parish, which was founded in 1862, and started St. Pat Senior Center in 1973.  The parish closed in 2015 and the church was demolished last September.  For the past ten years, the Mass Mobs have encouraged attendance at different historic churches and raised many thousands of dollars.  Visit www.detroitmassmob.com for more info.
