Happy 101st to Clara Doutly!

Some people go their entire lives without ever appearing in the newspaper.

St Pat’s Clara Doutly – along with her great friend, our long-time volunteer Katie Moylan – has been in the Free Press at least twice in the past year, including on the front page. Last October, Katie threw a 100th  birthday party for Clara at the Gaelic League, a photo of which appeared in the paper the next day.

These week they both celebrated her 101st – along with other Rosie the Riveters like Clara – in Ypsilanti.  The Free Press was there again.  To read the story click HERE
