Corktown Races & St. Pat Parade

On March 10, St. Pat continued our tradition of being part of Detroit’s annual St. Patrick Parade and Corktown Races.

The races or one of the most fun, exciting and family friendly events in the city, and this year over 3500 people participated.  Founded and run by the Fraternal Order of United Irishmen, proceeds go to support St. Pat’s many programs.  Executive Director SaTrice Coleman-Betts was invited to the podium to say a few works on our behalf.

Following the race, the 66the St. Patrick Parade made its way down Michigan Ave, through the heart of the Corktown neighborhood.  St. Pat marched in the second division, alongside our great friends, the FOUIs.
