You can help St. Pat Provide supplemental food for as little as $10.
For over 50 years, St. Patrick Senior Center has been a lifeline for older adults across Detroit. Each day, hundreds of seniors walk through our doors for connection, wellness programs, and nutritious meals. But many also depend on supplemental food support.
Why Supplemental Food Matters
Some of Detroit’s older adults face tough choices: pay for medicine, keep the lights on, or buy groceries. Too many live on fixed incomes that can’t keep up with rising food prices. Supplemental food programs help fill pantries, extend limited budgets, and reduce the stress of not knowing where the next meal will come from.
More Than Meals
Our programs go beyond daily hot meals. At our Monday food pantries, and most days in the cafeteria, we provide fresh produce, shelf-stable items, and healthy proteins.  We also support those who are homebound or cannot cook, helping them get the nourishment they need.  In addition, we often share the products we receive with other organizations in the community.  All of this makes a real difference in health, independence, and overall quality of life.
The Community’s Role
It takes all of us to keep this work going. Join companies like Comcast, MGM Grand Detroit, Detroit Area Agency on Aging, City of Detroit, Molina Healthcare of Michigan, Inc, Wolverine Packing Co. and Dwyer Marble and Stone in supporting St. Patrick Senior Center. Your gift helps provide meals served on site AND supplemental food that sustains seniors in their own homes.  For as little as $10, you can help defray the cost of 3,000 meals per month.
Together, let’s help Detroit’s older adults stay nourished. To donate today, click HERE!
