“Shimmy Mob” Raises Awareness of Domestic Violence

The auditorium was packed on Saturday, May 10, for St. Pat’s version of the “Shimmy Mob” – an annual, nationwide event creating awareness of emotional abuse and domestic violence. The day was organized by Karen Walker and Kimberly Wray-Norman, with dance direction by St. Pat’s belly dance teacher extraordinaire, Terry Plowden. Congratulations to all participants, and thanks for bringing this important movement to St. Pat.
