Think Heart, Think Health!

Thank you to everyone who joined the Think Heart, Think Health Program on Saturday January 17 – sponsored at St. Pat by the New Metro Detroit Club as an educational experience to learn about the steps you can take to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.

The community partners included Dr. Bryanne Standifer, M.D., Wayne State University Nursing Students, and St. Pat.   Heart disease is a leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women. Heart-healthy living involves understanding your risk, making healthy choices, and taking steps to reduce your chances of getting heart disease, including coronary heart disease, the most common type.

By taking preventive measures, people lower their risk of developing heart disease that could lead to a heart attack, and also improve overall health and well-being.
