Our 53rd Year – Another Amazing One!

610
Our 52nd year was another amazing one.  In 2025 we provided services to over 3000 individuals—all the programs so many of our people depend on, like healthy and delicious meals, wellness initiatives, benefits help, transportation, in-home assistance, dance and exercise classes and dozens of other activities.  In 2026, we’re on track to serve even more people with all our services.
Other highlights of 2025:

Our popular technology training expanded to seven additional centers and residences, thanks to support provided by Comcast, Detroit Area Agency on Aging and Others

We expanded services to those who have difficulty leaving home, providing supplemental food and meals to area seniors, and also to other organizations.  This is possible because of support from Forgotten Harvest, the Pulte Family Foundation, United Way of SE Michigan, Sam’s Club, Trader Joes and others.  (See the video above)

With a grant from the Thome Foundation, we launched “Ageless Innovations,” which is providing training opportunities for people over 55 who’d like to become entrepreneurs or community health workers.   Five classes graduated in 2025, six are scheduled for 2026

And our 134 year old home is getting a new roof, new flooring in some areas, and other modifications to improve mobility and accessibility.  In 2026, we’ll get a new elevator, re-paved parking lot, and more

As St. Pat continues to evolve so we can meet the ever-changing needs of Detroit’s aging community, 2026 is shaping up to be even more amazing

Our best is yet to come!
