February 1 marks one year since the passing of our beloved founder, Sister Mary Watson. She started St. Pat in 1973 – serving seven meals that first day – and since then we’ve grown to become Detroit’s largest health, wellness and activities center for people over 55. Her legacy is the thousands who’ve been served over the years in so many ways. There was nobody like Sister Mary, and she will always be a part of everything we do. Here’s a quick video put together last year, mainly tributes from a lunch in her honor when she retired to the Dominican Mother House in Racine.
