PUT YOUR HEART INTO IT
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
HOW CAN I HELP?
St. Patrick Senior Center has been serving the needs of the community since 1973, and we could not have done it without the dedication and hard work of the many kind-hearted volunteers who have given their time. St. Patrick is unique because many of our volunteers are the senior members themselves. However, as the senior population of the area and the nation grows, resources which were already stretched are being pushed to the limit. The Center is being faced with new and ongoing challenges and we need your help now more than ever.
We have overcome challenges in the past and are confident that the people of metro Detroit area will pull together once again to ensure that the senior community continues to receive the care, support, and love offered by St. Patrick Senior Center for years to come.
There are many opportunities to help the senior center and we can utilize everyone's abilities. So whether you can drive a car, fix a computer, paint a wall, or teach a class, you can be assured that your time will be greatly appreciated and put to good use.
You can make a huge difference in someone's life. Here are some of the many ways:
Transportation to medical appointments and Center
Plaster work or painting
Upgrade, install, or troubleshoot computers
Prepare or serve meals
Clean up after lunch
Decorate for the holidays and special events
Use professional skills
Light office work and/or data entry
Teach a class
There are many opportunities to give of yourself in addition to these, so if you are interested in helping us continue to serve the community's seniors, please contact us at email@example.com or complete our "Volunteer" form.
